Graphic Design
In these courses, students will establish the basic concepts of visual communication and balance and learn design and techniques with tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Our design projects will cover the visual identity system, poster, brochure, package, digital Illustration, animation, and more. Students will conduct research, brainstorm, study from the media, learn to critique graphic design work, be prepared for further graphic design learning, and handle some commercial graphic design projects.

Introduction to Poster Design with Adobe Illustrator
In this class, students will learn Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop skills and establish a basic concept of design thinking. We will guide the students to create design products based on their personality and their own visual preferences. Students will conduct research, brainstorm, and experience design critics to get prepared for further graphic design study. Adobe Illustrator will be the main program used in this class.
Software: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
Students need to bring their own laptops that have Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator programs.
Graphic Design Portfolio
- Portfolio Prep
This class is designed for students who have finished Fundamentals in Graphic Design. In this class, we will introduce students to a concept called Brand Identity or Visual Identity. They will brainstorm imaginary brands and create logos, define visual styles, choose fonts and color palettes for their brands, and design packaging for imaginary or real products. Besides, publication design, App design, and website design will be covered for continuing students.
