Fine Arts
The Fine Arts class offers an understanding of the creative process by learning how to see the world around us through the lens of an artist. Students will explore different art forms and styles, and search for their individual artistic voice. The goal is to complete at least one final piece of art from start to finish with a medium of the student’s choice.
Drawing / Painting
Our Adult Painting and Drawing classes have a tailored approach to learning the fundamental principles of art. Students will learn color, composition, value, form, brushwork, and perspective to further their artistic endeavors. The class will allow students to explore a variety of mediums, including, but not limited to, charcoal, Graphite, Oil, and Acrylic paint.
Oil / Acrylic Painting
This class introduces oil and acrylic painting techniques and theories through practice and demonstration. Emphasis is placed on the choice of materials, the depiction of light and shadow, technical skill, basic color mixing, and composition. The course provides students with a foundation for creative expression in oil and acrylic painting.

Oil Painting - Portrait
In this class, we will explore the techniques of painting a portrait in oil. We will explore both direct and indirect painting techniques, as well as methods for achieving an accurate and dynamic portrait.
